MyLegend

Two months have passed since we announced the beginning of the inactivity period of Belgium myLegend. Since then, things have evolved and the day has come to announced our new roster. The lineup consists of the following players:

Lionel "magmax" Weets
Remy "hi0" Sanzami
Loris "gatuzo" Landik
Jeremy "screenager" Meurisse
Laurent "shyon" Père

Here's what the team captain, magmax, had to say about his new teammates:

screenager: He is a very talented player, I've been around with him for ages now and he is considered by the team as THE mvp player of our latest lan, the 3DLAN.

hi0: Given the fact he was in the previous roster, I'll just repeat myself - he is a very skilled and overall player, with great mentality. I really like to play with him.

gatuzo: If you need someone who is able to participate to a lan every week, he is your man. He has always been underestimated, but we decided to give him a chance and he showed us what he was capable of at lan and we were satisfied. He hasn't much experience yet, but we have all put our trust in him.

shyon: For a long time, he was considered as an onliner but he was able to proove to everyone he wasn't. He has a huge potential, he is very motivated. Like gatuzo, we decided to give him a chance and we're really satisfied with the choice we made.

L-A: Hello Li000, could you please introduce yourself?

Legend|MAGMAX: My name is Lionel Weets, I've recently turned 22 years old, I'm studying e-marketing/e-business at the Leon Eli Troclet university and I'm addicted to electronic music. I'm better known under the name "MAGMAX" and I first started to play for europeans organization like DkH, 64AMD, gmpo, e2sports, etc. In 2001, I decided to create Legend which has become Legend Ltd. where I'm playing for several years now. I also shortly played for wise, and for oG & private as a stand-in.

L-A: What happened with Kanon and bes, who are far away from being noobs?

Legend|MAGMAX: I'm not sure Lan-Area is the right place to talk about those things, but since you mentionned it, I'll try to clear things out. Kanon has become a man, he is working now and recently moved in with his girlfriend. He hadn't enough time to practice with us, so the choice was obvious. Now regarding bes, the major reason was because he had a lot of issues with the team, the team chemistry wasn't that good when we were playing with him. But when he is not in the game, he is a very cool guy, I had a lot of fun with him.

L-A: Tell me your opinion about screenager & hi0 as players?

Legend|MAGMAX: As I said before, hi0 is a great overall player, he communicates really good, he has a huge skill, he is always in a good mood, it's just great to play with that guy! Concerning screenager, he is also a very talented player, ingame he is a monster. These two guys are my friends, and I won't change them for nothing in the world :D!

L-A: Thanks for your time. Any shoutouts?

Legend|MAGMAX: I find this sentence really stupid, but if people are reading til the end of the interview, it could be good. Like everyone knows, I'm in love with the Pentagram story. These guys tried to build a highly capable organization with the potential their country had, even if Poland wasn't advanced. They worked hard, and as you can see, it worked... What I mean is that I'm fed up hearing always the same thing, that Belgium has not potential, blabla. Talent exists here, I'm sure about that, and if we could stop our fights etc, I'm convinced we could do something great. MyLegend had a rough time, after all the success we've had, things began to fall appart and we went inactive (I won't talk about the sabotage from oun-gaming, which is sort of the main reason). Now we're back, with the same goals we had in the beginning, but with another perspective. That's why I ask to all the people who are motivated by esport or tempted by a belgian project to contact me. We need you, whatever if you're scenewriter, player or manager it doesn't matter, we're there for YOU!
